A New Chapter in Board Manufacturing
At Arc Composite, our mission is simple: redefine how surf and wakesurf boards are built.
For decades, board manufacturing has relied on hand-layup processes that are slow, inconsistent, expensive, and environmentally wasteful. The Arc Pilot Program marks the first step toward changing that.
Why We Started the Pilot Program
For years, surf and wakesurf brands have faced the same bottleneck: limited manufacturing options that force tradeoffs between quality, consistency, and price. Overseas OEM factories dominate production, but long lead times, high minimums, and inconsistent quality make it hard for brands to scale.
The Arc Pilot Program was built to change that. Our goal is to prove that precision composite manufacturing, done sustainably in the U.S., can deliver stronger, lighter, and more consistent boards at globally competitive prices.
By partnering directly with forward-thinking brands, we’re validating not just the process, but the future of how boards are made.
How the Program Works
Here’s how it works, simple, transparent, and truly no strings attached.
Each participating brand signs up to receive a free pilot build using one of their existing designs. We’ll manufacture the board using our patent-pending composite process and ship it directly to them for real-world testing.
All we ask in return is feedback. If they like the performance and want to move forward, great. If not, no problem. There’s no obligation, we’re serious about that.
Together, we’ll benchmark against traditional boards across three key metrics:
- Cycle time – Faster build-to-ride turnaround.
- Performance consistency – Identical flex, buoyancy, and response across builds.
- Cost competitiveness – A U.S.-made process that can rival overseas pricing.
The Bigger Vision: Building the Future of U.S. Board Manufacturing
The Arc Pilot Program is just the beginning of a much larger mission, to reshape the surf and wakesurf manufacturing landscape.
We believe the future belongs to brands that design boldly and build intelligently, balancing sustainability with performance and price. Our composite system empowers them to do exactly that:
No overseas shipping.
No unpredictable QC.
No compromise between performance and consistency.
Our long-term vision is to establish a domestic manufacturing ecosystem that supports local jobs, reduces global shipping, and raises the performance standard for every board that hits the water.
What’s Next
We’re continuing to sign up brands for the Pilot Program and expect to begin pilot production in early to mid-2026.
If you’re a surf or wakesurf brand looking to push the boundaries of what’s possible in board manufacturing, now’s the time to get involved.
Sign up to be among the first pilot partners and experience what’s next in board technology, completely free, no strings attached.
